Low light or no light CCTV techology

At our forestry creation in Lahinch County Clare we have fitted an Axis Communications PTZ camera to live stream the site. The camera has lightfinder 2.0 technology and is incredible in low light conditions. We wanted the capability to remove all infra red lighting from the camera as this is a rural location and its important we have clear images at all time. No infra red means no spiders in our experience! The area is a rural farm location with hardly any ambient light except for maybe one or two farm houses in the distance. This is an incredible image captured at 7.30 on the morning, one hour off sunrise.

Do you know that we have the infra red turned off on this Axis Communications PTZ - just lightfinder 2.0 in action! Snapshot taken this morning at our forestry creation by Cloudforests.ie , Sunrise still one hour away when the snapshot was captured.…

day time image captured at Cloudforest One

Day time image approx. two hours later. Remember not all CCTV cameras are the same, we choose cameras based on location, ambient lighting and the requirements of the client. CCTV design is not a one size suits all type of business.
