Responsibility built into how we operate.

We operate in environments where reliability, accountability, and long-term thinking are essential.

This extends beyond security systems to how we manage energy, resources, and environmental impact across our business.

Environmental Responsibility

Our operations are structured to reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.

  • Solar-powered energy generation at our headquarters

  • Ongoing reduction in carbon footprint through electrification of our fleet.

  • Continuous improvements in recycling, reuse and second life products.

  • Major supporter of reforestation, biodiversity and carbon sequestration projects.

Measured Impact

We focus on measurable, practical improvements rather than broad commitments.

  • Over 6,500 units of renewable energy generated annually at our HQ with plans to bring that up to 10,000 units per annum in 2027.

  • Reduction in carbon emissions through energy and infrastructure upgrades at HQ such as increased insulation, energy efficient lighting and heating.

  • Participation in long-term environmental impacts through our membership of Cloudforests. Over 67,700 trees planted, biodiversity and conservation projects such as pollinators, wildflowers, endangered bird conservation projects

Comprehensive Forest Creation

We are proud members of the Cloudforests CoolPartner community being the founding CoolPartner 001. We have been members since 2020. Cloudforest is creating a network of forests along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way for the planet, nature and people. On average our membership of the CoolPartner Community reduces our carbon footprint by an estimated ten tonnes per annum.

Renewable energy at Usee HQ

Our daytime energy needs at Usee HQ are powered by a solar array with battery storage. We are currently generating over 6500 units of green electricity every year. This alone is reducing our carbon footprint by over two tonnes per annum. We have also implemented a low-energy review of our business premises, increased insulation levels and installed LED lighting throughout.

Electric vehicles

In 2021 we started replacing our current fleet with electric vehicles from Tesla, Toyota and VW. All admin staff currently employed by the business use electric vehicles that can be conveniently charged at our Business HQ.

Recycling

We make sure to recycle cardboard and batteries to cut down on waste, and we’re big on returning bottles to keep them out of the trash. We service our vans regularly to keep them in top shape to save fuel and lower emissions. It’s our way of doing business responsibly and looking after the planet.

Sustainability is not treated as a separate initiative.

It is integrated into how we operate, make decisions, and manage long-term responsibility.

Responsible operations are a requirement—not an addition
