Homes: CCTV can be installed on your own property, but it cannot record public areas or a neighbour’s garden. If it does, you fall under Data Protection Laws (GDPR)

For Businesses: CCTV must comply with Data Protection Regulations and the Private Security Authority (PSA) licensing

Employees and customers must be informed of cameras - clear signs must be displayed
